Friday August 15th features the return to Woody Point of Gordon Pinsent, fresh off his Genie-award winning performance in the critically-acclaimed film Away From Her. Reading on the same bill that night will be two of Canada’s finest poets, Don McKay, winner of the Governor General’s Award and the Griffin Poetry Prize, and Corner Brook’s own Randall Maggs, reading from the acclaimed collection Night Work.
