This exciting collaboration brings ska, soul, jazz, and Caribbean groove to town with Zaynab's soulful originals and covers, as her band is joined by fine musicians from around the island, as well as extended Trinidad roots including Zaynab's own family members. Steel drums guaranteed.

Zaynab Wilson is a soulful, genre-blending singer, drummer, strummer, and composer whose roots run deep in rhythm, community, and creative expression. Raised in a family steelpan band, she grew up immersed in the sounds and style of her Afro-Caribbean heritage. Her musical mosaic pulls audiences into her world of wonder, reflection, and ancestral rhythms. Her latest EP, A Way Home, earned a 2025 MusicNL R&B Artist of the Year award and praise from Caribbean Beat magazine for its heartfelt take on diaspora, heritage, and home. She's currently at work with her team on her debut full-length album, out Spring 2027.

MoZayic is the multi-faceted, collaborative, and improvisational collection of artists who help bring vibrancy to Zaynab's original songs and stories, and give her sound a full band feel. For this year's festival, Zaynab is joined by Susan Evoy, Julia Cass, Len O'Neill, Scott Shepherd, and her parents Salah and Adiylah, visiting from Montreal.
