Sonic Harvest returns to Woody Point for two weekends of unforgettable music, food, and stories in the historic Woody Point Heritage Theatre. Join us for incredible cultural experiences, outstanding Newfoundland performers, outdoor adventures, and a true sense of community in the heart of Gros Morne National Park.

Join us as Brick Books celebrates 50 years of publishing Canadian poetry with a special event at Writers at Woody Point, honouring the past, present, and future of poetry—especially as it lives and thrives in Newfoundland and Labrador.

As we prepare for another busy ticket launch, we want to share a few details about how Ticketpro's Virtual Waiting Room works to ensure a smooth, fair, and positive experience for everyone.

We're delighted to share that Nelson White is the poster artist for this year's Writers at Woody Point. He's an accomplished and award winning artist who was recently long-listed for the prestigious 2025 Sobey Art Award and he's made a special artwork for us.

We know that wonderful feeling you experience in the Heritage Theatre, the sense that we are all part of something special, the goodwill, the excitement, the shared love of stories and songs.

Our hosts set that tone —not just for the audience, but for the authors and musicians on stage—creating an atmosphere of warmth, connection, and joy.

Throughout the history of Writers at Woody Point, we have been privileged to host renowned authors from outside Canada – beginning with Louis de Bernieres way back in Year Two.

We are thrilled that two of our favourites have agreed to make the long trek to Western Newfoundland to be part of our 22nd festival this summer: Ann Patchett and Kevin Barry.
